On Thursday, October 1, the L'Oréal Foundation announced the names of the 35 laureates of the L'Oréal-UNESCO Program for Women in Science "Jeune Talents France", conducted in partnership with UNESCO and the French Academy of Sciences.
Solène Marie is being rewarded for her PhD, carried out as a hospital and university assistant (Université Paris-Saclay, AP-HP) within the SHFJ (UMR BioMaps), on the development of new imaging radiotracers for the study of drug distribution in the body, particularly in the heart and liver. A graduate in pharmacy, Solène divided her time during her PhD between her research work at the Institute, a position as radiopharmacist at the Bicêtre Hospital and a teaching position in the Faculty of Pharmacy.
The prize includes a research grant of 15,000 euros and training in "management and leadership".
