The Multiplex Immunohistochemistry (IHCm) platform has been newly created to meet the growing needs of the iRCM (Institute of Cellular and Molecular Radiobiology) department in this field. We collaborate with the platform of the IDMIT department (Infectious Diseases Models for Innovative Therapies) with the aim of pooling the skills and resources of each department of the CEA's François Jacob Institute of Biology. The platform offers a histology service, from paraffin embedding of tissues or processing of cryopreserved specimen sections, to high-throughput image acquisition and histological analysis. It has automated equipment for staining, immunolabelling and in situ hybridization, as well as a slide scanner for scanning stained or pre-labelled tissue in brightfield and fluorescence. In addition, the platform offers support and advice for the interpretation and analysis of histological images. The platform will ensure a sustainable quality service, collaborations and the development of new cutting-edge techniques open to the scientific community. The pricing of the various services is currently being determined.
