Pushing passivated contacts solar cells to industry

CEA at INES keep improving Passivated contact solar cells with the platform developed by SEMCO Smartech for boron diffusion and LPCVD deposition of polysilicon on oxide.

Teams developed n-PERT cell precursors with iVoc above 725 mV and complete screen-printed solar cells. They have just reached an efficiency of 23.0% (M2 full area). CalTeC certified this result in August 2020.

CEA-INES and SEMCO Smartech will be presenting these promising performances during next EU-PVSEC in September 2020.
