When you work with CEA-Liten, you partner with one of the only research organizations in Europe to cover the entire new energy technology value chain, from developing materials to scaling new concepts up for manufacturing. As an active participant in multi-partner research projects at the French and European levels, we have cultivated strong relationships with other research organizations and institutions and built a wide ecosystem of partner companies. Our role in these projects has also positioned us to help shape research policy and drive innovation.
As a leading European research organization, we have direct access to European policymakers, public-private partnerships, and R&D resources. To date, we have initiated or participated in more than 100 EU research projects on materials and technologies for energy. Our strong collaborations with partner companies of all sizes—resulting in nearly 400 R&D contracts each year—have enabled us to develop a broad portfolio of technologies. Every one of these projects is an opportunity for us to innovate and to push back the limits of what is possible in energy, energy efficiency, and the circular economy. We are committed to bringing our partners deep know-how spanning multiple industries and an integrated component-to-system approach. In addition to immediate access to our expertise, our partners can also leverage our portfolio of patents—one of our key differentiators when it comes to overcoming technological roadblocks and bringing new technologies from the lab to the market quickly and efficiently.
