On booth D30, CEA Leti will showcase its hardware security innovations for silicon-embedded hardware, through the VASCO2 demonstrator, as well as its expertise in security assessment of embedded systems’ interfaces, through the SCIBE tool demonstrator.
VASCO2 (ASIC vehicle for component security) integrates innovative, patented hardware security building blocks on 22 nm FD-SOI silicon. It enables all types of standard or customized tests to validate these technologies in operational conditions in order to prepare a transfer to industry. VASCO2 highlights the relevance and characteristics of these hardware blocks for industry by matching current challenges in hardware security: - Securing processors
- Securing and accelerating pre- and post-quantum cryptography
- Modelizing and characterizing True Random Number Generators (TRNG)
- Securing memories, etc.
SCIBE is a bench for testing the security compliance and vulnerabilities detection in communication interfaces for connected objects. It conducts protocol security tests for wireless devices (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, ZigBee, NFC) and physical interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, JTAG, CAN).
