The company’s decision-assistance software, DEMPlus for nuclear©, is a one-of-a-kind tool that integrates 3D simulation and real-time evaluation for each operation. The software takes into account the interdependence of multiple factors, including costs, duration, operator risk, and waste generated. Plus, it can perform fast sensitivity analyses so that users can rapidly choose the optimal scenario. Since 2013, Oreka Solutions has been integrating List’s most advanced technology—from real-time dose calculators to collision-avoidance engines—into its systems. A joint laboratory was established in 2014 and has ensured continued upgrades to the software’s features.

The startup’s customers also have access to the CEA’s immersive room, Présage, (at the CEA’s nuclear research site in Marcoule), where they can use the CEA’s tools to simulate tasks in a totally immersive 3D virtual environment.
