Minimizing building energy loss is a priority topic in energy research. CEA Tech is seeking out new solutions for existing buildings and new construction projects, starting with tools to reduce the amount of energy required by building systems and occupant activities.
CEA Tech is also working to promote greater integration of renewable energy (mainly solar) into France’s overall energy mix by helping make the cost of renewable energy more competitive. The major focus is on reducing solar-energy equipment costs and lengthening equipment lifespans. Finally, CEA Tech is developing energy storage technologies to make tomorrow’s energy systems more flexible and reliable.
