Training in Photonic Integrated Circuits in New York City
From Oct 19 through 23, 2015, a unique week-long training on Photonic
Integration is being held at Columbia University in New York City. The
training covers all aspects needed for developing Photonic Integrated
Circuits (PICs) such as a system level overview, a component tutorial,
design and layout software, foundries, packaging, and business topics
such as 'scaling to production'.
The training covers all key material systems including Silicon Photonics, InP based materials, as well as the TriPlex (SiO2/Si3N4)
material system. The program has the full support of over 15 companies
