With €34 million in funding from the French government via the ANR Cryonext has identified seven research and development projects. Selected by the France 2030's national quantum strategy it aims to secure national resources in the field of high-performance cryogenic systems for quantum technologies. Led by the CEA's Fundamental Research Division and CNRS Physics the program brings together all the players in the cryogenics ecosystem and involves teams from IRIG.

Supported by the ecosystem of industrial partners Air Liquide, Thalès, Radiall and Quobly, the CRYONEXT program will enable the various project leaders to develop new cryogenic architectures and also to structure cryostat platforms.
