To explore the antigenic determinants and the pathogenicity of the anti-C1q autoantibodies in a systemic lupus erythematosus

Join the Complement, antibodies and infectious disease Group (IBS/CAID) and embark on a cutting-edge project at the forefront of complement system biology. The Cirdis team of the CAID group is seeking a motivated and talented postdoctoral researcher to explore the antigenic determinants and the pathogenicity of the anti-C1q autoantibodies in a systemic lupus erythematosus – a paradigm of disease of systemic autoimmunity.

Required skills:
– Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
– Strong experience in recombinant protein expression and purification.
– Proficiency in ELISA and other immunoassays.
– Familiarity with structural biology techniques will be greatly appreciated.
– Passion for scientific discovery and a collaborative spirit.

The contract will last at least 18 months and max 2y, depending on the starting date and researcher experience.
