Enhanced Eurotalents is an international mobility program, co-funded by the European Commission, for advanced researchers at postdoctoral level. The program helps them to carry out their own research project in an outstanding CEA laboratory. Host laboratories are located throughout France in of the 10 CEA research centers. Enhanced Eurotalents awards fellowships in 4 research fields including Life sciences & biotechnology. With a 10 million euros budget (twice more than the previous Eurotalents program), Enhanced Eurotalents will fund over 150 fellowships between 2014 et 2019.
For whom?
There are 2 eligibility requirements:
- Applicant must hold a PhD or have at least 4 years of active experience in research after a Master's degree.
- Applicant must not have lived in France for more than 12 months in the 3 years prior to the submission of his/her research proposal.
There are no nationality requirements.
Application steps
The Enhanced Eurotalents program is based on a continuous submission process. Advanced researchers can apply at any time starting from January 2014 to May 2017. Project selection rounds are scheduled each year with 3 strict deadlines (cut-off dates). Each round is a 3 steps process:
- Step 1: online registration and eligiblity check
- Step 2: submission of the research proposal, matured in collaboration with the potential host laboratory
- Step 3: each complete application is reviewed indepently by 3 international experts. Ranking is based on evaluation scores.
